Ildy Modrovich Reveals Exclusive Secrets About Lucifer Season 2
I hope you remember the bored Satan who left his throne to settle down in LA? Yes, the very man who proudly founded a night club. It feels like an eternity that we saw him in his little action, doesn't it?
I heard that the comedy- drama is going to be up on our television sets again to give us a great experience. But first, let me take you through the little secrets Ildy Modrovich revealed about the season 2. Yes, I have the spoilers for Lucifer Season Two, tell me you are all excited!
Season One of Lucifer was all about daddy issues and exploring being rejected. Lucifer was a wayward son. Season Two is all about the yin to the yang; it's mommy time. There was a female energy that we all felt was missing, so we will get a lot of the backstory about Mom and her ex-husband. It was critical to us to have a large, strong, female character in the show and for her relationship with Lucifer to be as involved as his relationship with God – both good and bad. Season One was about establishing everything. In Season Two, we get to go crazy and delve much deeper than before.Wait! What?? Tricia Helfer?
Tricia is awesome! Yes, we know that. Ildy said the first day was enough to see her kill it. He said, "She wanted to make sure that she wasn't playing just an evil, Cruella de Vil-type character, so she brings softness and strength, and she has 900 different colors that she gives at one time. She's also super funny and the nicest person ever."
We heard it was a hard time finding the right actress!
He said," We knew she had to be formidable and she had to be funny. Tom [Ellis, who plays Lucifer] has this compassion in him. He has such a sweet, human soul that comes out even when he's this rogue bad boy. We wanted all three of those things in our Mom. We also wanted to see who Lucifer took after because I think he takes after Mom more than he is like Dad. We wanted to see somebody who doesn't deny themselves fun and has a passion and thirst for life. That's another thing that Tricia has. She's so joyful."
We might as well get some flashbacks!
Will Mom bring with her some flashbacks from when Lucifer fell from Heaven? Okay, that is a question I am looking forward to for an answer.
To this, we heard Ildy speak, "Maybe. It's funny because my first reaction to this question was probably not – but I didn't think we would go to Hell last season and we did. I think this could be a possibility. You just never know."
